I Dont Want To Talk ANymore

Wow...that says it all right there..........Keep it light...thats the plan right...lets just keep it light.......well to me that means dont tell me how you feel anymore.

I never thought there would come a day when I didnt want to share everything with Nerd...good or bad.....now I just dont want to talk to him. I keep saying what is the point of being friends when you cant share how you feel. I guess I am partially to blame because talking about the deep core stuff has always been "I still love you and want you back". Today my feelings are that I am having a hard time with my bipolar and my depression and if I cant tell you that then screw you.

I really dont have any desire to speak to him. He wrote to check in and check up with me today. He wanted to know all about what was going on with me. I replied with the answer to the question he asked me about school and I said nothing about myself.

Boy I wanted to say some stuff about how it all makes me feel and then I was like why bother. Its a waste of time and energy. I am thinking that this might be a good thing. He is giving me no choice but to remove myself from his life. Something I should have done years ago.

Thats all I wanted to share today. I have a short attention span right now..........

I believe the barrier you have put between you and Nerd could be positive or negative. If you don't want to be friends with Nerd, you may as well continue the barrier and cease to talk. If you want to be friends, I believe a barrier may be the false option.

I have to agree with Megan about barriers, Elyse. No matter what you decide, there seems to be barriers in place that are either allowing you to heal, or preventing you from truly moving forward, and these seem to shift and change with how you feel at any given point. It sounds to me like you are on the healing path, though, and I encourage you to continue that momentum so that you can find true happiness in your life. You certainly deserve to be happy, my friend...
